After a highly successful run in Europe, the U.S. anticipated premiere of "Bernadette|, The Musical has been set! The inspiring musical about the courageous story of Saint Bernadette of Lourdes will be at The Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in Chicago. FEBRUARY 21 - EVENT FOR SINGLES:  "UNCOUPLED CATHOLICS" BREAKFAST (BLOOMINGTON)

A group, called Uncoupled Catholics, welcomes any single people to meet for breakfast at a restaurant called Times Past Inn in Bloomington at 9AM. FEBRUARY 21 - PRO-LIFE TRANING TO INSPIRE MOMS TO CHOOSE LIFE FOR BABIES (ROCKFORD)

Sidewalk Advocates in Rockford is calling for folks with hearts for moms in crisis. We are holding a training for new advocates who outreach to moms visiting a abortion facility on Maray Drive in Rockford. We are peaceful and lawful advocates who try to meet needs of mothers so they'll choose life for their babies. FEBRUARY 22 - IGNITE CATHOLIC TEENS LENT KICKOFF FELLOWSHIP & SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS (BLOOMINGTON)

Ignite Student Minsitries is having a city-wide Lenten Kickoff for all high school aged Catholic teens! They will have vision boards, small groups and group discussions from 6-7:30pm at Most Holy Eucharist, better known as St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington.  It doesn't matter which high school you attend or whether you attend a different Catholic Parish than this one.

FEBRUARY 26 - SHARING GRIEF JOURNEY WITH FAITH (BLOOMINGTON)

All those continuing to grieve the loss of a loved one are invited to attend a monthly gathering with others on a similar journey. Join them at 6:30PM in Room 6 at Most Holy Eucharist Parish, better known as St. Patrick church of Merna in Bloomington. It's designed to encourage healing through connection and shared experiences. This is open to all in our community so feel free to share with others. No registration is required. Ignite Student Minsitries is leading a city-wide event for all all high school aged Catholic teens! Come learn about sacrifices, why we fast and how it brings us closer to God? Come from 6-7:30pm at Most Holy Eucharist, better known as St. Patrick Church of Merna, in Bloomington.  It doesn't matter which high school you attend or whether you attend a different Catholic Parish than this one.

MARCH 3 - 150 ANNIVERSARY OF PEORIA DIOCESE (BLOOMINGTON)

Most Holy Eucharist parish, better known as St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington will host an event at 6PM to welcome Catholics from anywhere towns between the Bloomington area and Lincoln vicariate area to celebrate 100th anniversary of the Diocese of Peoria. All are invited to celebrate this momentous occasion with Bishop Louis Tylka.  A light reception will follow.

MARCH 4 - ENCOUNTER/PRAYING/MUSIC & WELL KNOWN SPEAKER MARK ROSE: ABIDING IN JESUS (BLOOMINGTON)

Come and rest with Jesus, during Encounter night, on at 7:30PM at Most Holy Eucharist Parish, better known as St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington. Mark Rose, from Evangelical Catholic, will share a reflection with everyone on Abiding in Jesus: When Power is Made Perfect in Weakness. Enjoy a retreat-like night of peace, music, inspiring speech and silent prayer time.

APRIL 18 - WOMEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST, LIVE MUSIC, SPEECH (HUNTLEY, IL)

All women are welcome to a prayer breakfast  from 9AM-12PM at the parish hall at St. Mary Church in Huntley, IL.  It's led by A ministry for women, known as the Magnificat.  It will include live music.  Guest speaker is Father Sean Grismer, a priest from Hartland-Woodstock, IL known for his podcast "Dose of the Ghost".  For more info, go to https://magnificat-ministry.net/chapters/il-mchenry/

1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - JOIN A CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY GROUP
At 9AM, the "Carmelite Spirituality Group" will meet at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the parish hall, in Bloomington. Is God calling you to become a Third Order Lay Carmelite? Do you want to learn more about the Carmelite way? If you are 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing, you are invited to attend the meetings held every 1st Saturday of the month. 2ND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH – PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

All are welcome at Historic St. Patrick’s Church in Bloomington at 4:15PM.  They will pray the rosary, divine mercy chaplet and other prayers for current priests and for future priestly vocations. 

4th SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH - SECULAR FRANCISCAN MEETING (NEWCOMERS ARE WELCOME)

Have you been thinking about following Christ in the footsteps of St Francis of Assisi? If so, you are invited to visit the St Margaret of Corona Fraternity. They are an Order of Franciscan Seculars who meet the fourth Sunday of each month in the St Mary's of Bloomington Parish Hall (lower level below church) from 2:00 to 4:00PM.  Do you want to promote peace, love, charity and goodness in your life? Then, you are welcome to come & see if this is the path to your journey of simplicity and community.

ONGOING- FREE ON BIBLE STUDY ON REVELATION

The Institute of Catholic Culture will provide a 11-week study of the Book of Revelation in a free, comprehensive, online course that provides a biblical context and the historical context needed to understand Revelation's most mysterious symbols, including the 144,000, the 'mark' and 666, the great harlot, and the Heavenly Jerusalem.  The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.  It will be taught by Rev. ONGOING – EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL VIRTUAL CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

Without having to go anywhere, you can have access to great free talks about Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist that you can play whenever you want.  In addition, there are some live talks, too.  Imagine for a moment what it could mean for our Church, our families, and the world if we realized that Jesus is present and more powerful than the storm around us.  Among the long list of speakers, you may recognize some of them, such as Dr. Gregory Popcak who hosts More2Life on Catholic Spirit Radio.  However, the conference is NOT affiliated with Catholic Spirit Radio.  It's not too late.  Sign up anytime.  You'll continue to have access until September 2025.  For more info, visit the website and hit register button:  https://go.virtualcatholicconference.com/ERC22
