CONFESSION TIMES

Catholic apologist Tim Staples, who can be heard on Catholic Answers Live on Catholic Spirit Radio, says that in scripture, "Jesus Christ delegated authority to his new Testament ministers to be mediators of reconciliation."

BIBLE REFERENCES TO THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE SACRAMENT OF CONFESSION

John 20:21,23:

Jesus said to them again, “...As the Father has sent me...I send you.” If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven..”

Isaiah 43:25:

..I am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.

All cities are in McLean County unless otherwise noted.  Some churches may simply say Confessions are after 8AM Mass (rather than a specific starting time) and may not list an ending time.  There may be exceptions to scheduled Confession times, such as if the priest does an emergency Anointing of the Sick.  Some churches may not have official Confession times.  You can speak to a priest when you see them to or email them and arrange a time.  This also works if you are unavailable at their scheduled times or if you have lengthy things to say in Confession.

CONFESSION TIMES for all cities in the counties: McLean, Livingston, Logan, DeWitt, Woodford & Ford.  Also, we include the Northwestern portion of Champaign County & the southern portion of LaSalle county.

STAY AT HOME ORDER

The state of Illinois is under a Stay at Home/Shelter in Place order by the governor.

Churches are not expected to re-open until at least April 7.  That date may get extended.  We will keep you updated.
