SPECIAL EVENT LED BY CATHOLIC SPIRIT RADIO
ROSARY EVENT AT CATHOLIC SPIRIT RADIO
Friday, October 7th is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. This day is remembered for the Blessed Virgin Mary's intercession in stopping the Ottoman Turks' 1600's invasion of Malta and potentially Rome. Soldiers and Christians throughout Europe devotedly prayed the Rosary invoking her aid against the daunting forces. Catholic Spirit Radio invites you to join in a worldwide recitation of the Rosary as we link via live audio with others in prayer. The local Rosary begins at 6:30PM in the north parking lot under their large illuminated rosary of Catholic Spirit Radio (108 Boeykens Place in Normal). Bring family and friends, your rosary, and a lawn chair. Free & open to all ages. Dan and Stephanie Burke, The Displaced Carmelite Nuns of Sacramento, Chris Stefanick, and Bishop Strickland will be guiding the event. Dan and Stephanie Burke host "Divine Intimacy Radio" on our station Sundays at 2:30AM and 10PM. You may recall that both Dan and Chris Stefanick have done talks at a parish in Normal in the past.
