FEBRUARY 9 -11 - LIVING SCRIPTURE RETREAT (FOR HEALING AFTER ABORTION)

The Living Scripture Retreat is the NEW NAME  for the long standing Peoria diocesan program known as Rachel's Vineyard Retreat.  This Retreat offers healing for those who struggle with the emotional and spiritual pain of a past abortion.   This retreat is for women and men, mothers, fathers, siblings and grandparents.   Anyone who has been impacted by an abortion experience is welcome.   For more info, call 309-264-1489 or email rvrpeoria@gmail.com  All communications are strictly confidential.

Bloomington's Corpus Christi School Dads Club host a Sweetheart Dance for parents & their children 3PM-5

FEBRUARY 13 - YOUNG-AT-HEART ADULT GROUP LUNCHEON

Young-at-Heart is a group that welcomes anyone 50 years young and older.  They are sponsoring a Mardi Gras Luncheon at the Olive Garden, Veteran’s Parkway/Empire in Bloomington. Seating begins at 11:30am. Order from the menu. Come enjoy a meal and make some friends. The reservation deadline is Feb. 10. FEBRUARY 17 - 19 - TEENS ENCOUNTER CHRIST RETREAT

A Bloomington/ Normal Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) retreat is set at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington from 8:30 am Saturday through Monday until 5PM.  You must be in high school between ages 15-19. The cost for a weekend is $75, but financial support is available. The weekend has a Boys session (TEC 156) and a Girls session (TEC 155). A TEC weekend helps teens focus on their unique personal faith journey and learn how religion can help guide the journey. Although you may have struggles in life, a community of loving and supportive people can help you remain true to yourself. FEBRUARY 16, 23, MARCH 1, 8, 22, 29 - KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FISH FRY

All are welcome at a fish fry at a Catholic organization, Knights of Columbus #574 Hall in Bloomington.  

FEBRUARY 23 - CORPUS CHRISTI ANNUAL FISH FRY 

All are welcome to a fish fry dinner is 5PM to 7 at Corpus Christi School in Bloomington. Basket drawing is at 7:30PM.  50/50 Raffles throughout the night.

EVENTS THAT OCCUR EVERY WEEK

THURSDAYS - RECOVERING FROM DIVORCE

The next session of the ministry Recovering from Divorce for Catholics will run for 13 weeks (no meeting on March 28th due to Holy Thursday). Meetings will take place at 6pm in Room 9 at St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington. There is no cost to participate and books are provided. EVENTS OCCURRING EVERY MONTH

1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - JOIN A CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY GROUP
At 9AM, the "Carmelite Spirituality Group" will meet at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the parish hall, in Bloomington. Is God calling you to become a Third Order Lay Carmelite? Do you want to learn more about the Carmelite way? If you are 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing, you are invited to attend the meetings held every 1st Saturday of the month. 2ND SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH – PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

All are welcome at Historic St. Patrick’s Church in Bloomington at 3PM.  They will pray the rosary, divine mercy chaplet and other prayers for current priests and for future priestly vocations. 

4th SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH - SECULAR FRANCISCAN MEETING (NEWCOMERS ARE WELCOME)

Have you been thinking about following Christ in the footsteps of St Francis of Assisi? If so, you are invited to visit the St Margaret of Corona Fraternity. They are an Order of Franciscan Seculars who meet the fourth Sunday of each month in the St Mary's of Bloomington Parish Hall (lower level below church) from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Do you want to promote peace, love, charity and goodness in your life? Then, you are welcome to come & see if this is the path to your journey of simplicity and community.

2ND MONDAY OF JANUARY, MARCH, MAY, JULY, SEPTEMBER, NOVEMBER - K OF C BLOOD DRIVE

​A blood drive will be held at a Catholic organization, Knights of Columbus Hall in Bloomington 6 times per year on the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September, November from 12:30 to 5:30PM.  Walk-ins are welcome.  You also may sign up.  For questions or sign up, call (309) 530-5703.



ONGOING – EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL VIRTUAL CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

Without having to go anywhere, you can have access to great free talks about Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist that you can play whenever you want.  In addition, there are some live talks, too.  Imagine for a moment what it could mean for our Church, our families, and the world if we realized that Jesus is present and more powerful than the storm around us.  Among the long list of speakers, you may recognize some of them, such as Dr. Gregory Popcak who hosts More2Life on Catholic Spirit Radio.  However, the conference is NOT affiliated with Catholic Spirit Radio.  It's not too late.  Sign up anytime.  You'll continue to have access until September 2025.  For more info, visit the website and hit register button:  https://go.virtualcatholicconference.com/ERC22
