JUNE 8-11 - WOMEN'S CURSILLO
Would you like to re-energize your faith, or learn a little more? How about a short course in Christianity? It’s called Cursillo.  It begins Thursday night and runs through Sunday afternoon.  They are currently accepting applications for women ages 21 and above. JUNE 9-11 - EMMAUS DAYS: COLLEGE MEN OR SINGLE MEN IN 20'S OR 30'S (VOCATIONS)

Each session is for different people.  This session #1 will be for those who are in college, as well as single men in their 20s and 30s who are discerning their vocation. It will be held at St. John’s Catholic Newman Center in Champaign, Illinois. Participants deepen their faith and focus on discerning God's will through prayer and the sacraments. JUNE 11 – EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION WITH BISHOP LOU TALK (BLOOMINGTON)

All ages are welcome to the Eucharistic Procession will be held at 2pm at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington. Please gather at the southeast corner of the track where the statue of Our Blessed Mother is located.  The Procession will begin with Exposition and a reflection by Bishop Louis Tylka. After time in prayer, we will begin to process around McGraw Park. The route includes stops at 3 altars including singing and scripture passages will be read for a time of prayer and reflection. This 60-90 minute event will end with Benediction and the prayer of Divine Praises.  The hope for this procession is to promote unity among the faithful of our local Catholic churches through an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.

JUNE 11 - EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION (PONTIAC, IL)

All are welcome to attend the Eucharistic Procession throughout Pontiac.  The event begins with 9:30AM Mass followed by the procession.

JUNE 11-16 – TOTUS TUUS

There will be a Diocese of Peoria online youth evangelization program called Totus Tuus, which is Latin for “totally yours.”  This week, the nearest local events include Epiphany Church in Normal and St. Michael in Streator.  In 2023 Totus Tuus will dive deep into some exciting new theology including turning to God thru Mary’s intercession.  The Day Program is for incoming 1st through 6th graders and runs from 9 am-3 pm Monday through Friday. The Teen Program is for incoming 7th-12th graders and runs from 6:30-8:15 pm Sunday through Thursday. JUNE 14 – “YOUNG-AT-HEART” PICNIC

“Young-at-Heart” is a term used for people 50 years of age and older.  Their 13th annual young at heart picnic will be held at Shepard park in Normal at 11:30AM. Hot dogs, hamburgers, iced tea and lemonade will be provided. Please bring a dish to pass and your table service. Games are after lunch. the cost is $4 per person. JUNE 23-26 - EMMAUS DAYS HIGH SCHOOL JR & SENIORS (VOCATIONS)

Each session is for different people.  This session #2 will be for juniors and seniors in high school who are discerning their vocation. It will be held at St. John’s Catholic Newman Center in Champaign, Illinois. Participants deepen their faith and focus on discerning God's will through prayer and the sacraments. Each session is for different people.  This session #3 will be for freshmen and sophomores in high school who are discerning their vocation. It will be held at Peoria Notre Dame High School in Peoria.

ONGOING – EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL VIRTUAL CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

Without having to go anywhere, you can have access to great free talks about Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist that you can play whenever you want.  In addition, there are some live talks, too.  Imagine for a moment what it could mean for our Church, our families, and the world if we realized that Jesus is present and more powerful than the storm around us.  Among the long list of speakers, you may recognize some of them, such as Dr. Gregory Popcak who hosts More2Life on Catholic Spirit Radio.  However, the conference is NOT affiliated with Catholic Spirit Radio.  It's not too late.  Sign up anytime.  You'll continue to have access until September 2025.  For more info, visit the website and hit the register button:  https://go.virtualcatholicconference.com/ERC22

EVENTS OCCURRING EVERY MONTH

1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - JOIN A CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY GROUP
At 9AM, the "Carmelite Spirituality Group" will meet at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the parish hall, in Bloomington. Is God calling you to become a Third Order Lay Carmelite? Do you want to learn more about the Carmelite way? If you are 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing, you are invited to attend the meetings held every 1st Saturday of the month. 2ND SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH – PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

All are welcome at Historic St. Patrick’s Church in Bloomington at 3PM.  They will pray the rosary, divine mercy chaplet and other prayers for current priests and for future priestly vocations. 

4th SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH - SECULAR FRANCISCAN MEETING (NEWCOMERS ARE WELCOME)

Have you been thinking about following Christ in the footsteps of St Francis of Assisi? If so, you are invited to visit the St Margaret of Corona Fraternity. They are an Order of Franciscan Seculars who meet the fourth Sunday of each month in the St Mary's of Bloomington Parish Hall (lower level below church) from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Do you want to promote peace, love, charity and goodness in your life? Then, you are welcome to come & see if this is the path to your journey of simplicity and community.
