NOVEMBER 27 - ST. PATRICK'S THANKSGIVING LUNCH (BLOOMINGTON)
Come to the parish hall of historic St. Patrick Church Locust St. Bloomington. The parish hall is the building on the opposite side of the parking lot from the church. They’ll begin to gather around 2pm and they’ll eat at 3pm. Turkey will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. If you have questions, call Donna at 309-824-0857.
NOVEMBER 27 - ST. PATRICK'S ANNUAL THANKSGIVING (WHITEWATER, WI)
From 11AM to 1PM, at Berry Hall (Upstairs) is a free meal at St. Patrick's in Whitewater, Wisconsin! It includes turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetables, salad, corn, cranberries and desserts.
NOVEMBER 28 - MAKER OF NATIVITIES FOR SALE; ARTIST WILL DO A SIGNING
If you come from 1PM-3PM, Lagron-Miller Company in Peoria will host a Fontanini signing with Emanuele Fontanini, of the world-renowned House of Fontanini- makers of Italian nativities for more than 110 years. Exclusive figure and ornament will be available to purchase and have signed. You can order and reserve your piece by calling 309-681-9171, if you can't make it that day!
NOVEMBER 22 - UNCOUPLED CATHOLICS FOOD/DRINKS/MUSIC (BLOOMINGTON)

DECEMBER 3 - MYSTERY OF THE MANGER CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM (BLOOMINGTON)
Bloomington's St. Mary's Elementary Students and Jr. High Choir invite you to their Christmas program, “The Mystery of the Manger,” at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington at 6:30PM. Come enjoy an evening of joyful music as their students share the story of Christmas through song.
DECEMBER 10 - CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Bloomington's Central Catholic High School's annual Christmas Band & Choir Concert at 7:30 p.m. in their auditorium. Admission is free; donations to their Music Program are welcome. If you come early, Bloomington's St. Mary's 5th–8th grade band/orchestra students will join with Corpus Christi School students for a Combined Band Concert at 6:00pm also at Central Catholic.
DECEMBER 10 - CHRISTMAS SENIOR CITIZEN LUNCHEON & MUSIC (BLOOMINGTON)
The Parish Hospitality Directors will be holding their annual Christmas Senior
Luncheon at 12pm in Shamrock Hall- old church area of St. Patrick Church of Merna a.k.a. Most Holy Eucharist Parish. The menu will include salads, soups, and desserts. Their program will feature the Caritas Homeschool Ministry group that will entertain them with holiday music. Please join them for this special event - all are welcome! DECEMBER 18 - POSADA (ROCKFORD)
Posada is a night of bilingual music, food and discipleship at 6:30PM at the cathedral of St. Peter in Rockford. It reinacts Mary & Joseph seeking for shelter in Bethlehem. Participants go house to house singing carols & seeking shelter until they are welcomed in. They will serve tamales and arroz con leche.
DECEMBER 24-25 CENTRAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR ON TV (PEORIA-BLOOMINGTON)
This holiday season, WEEK/HOIABC/THE CW will be partnering with area high school musical ensembles to bring you the 3rd Annual “Songs of the Season”. Central Catholic High School Choir from Bloomington will be one of the featured groups. If you have Comcast Xfinity cable, the CW is channel 4, NBC is channel 10 and ABC is channel 8.This one-hour musical celebration will air on:

Uncoupled Catholics are a group of single Catholics from Bloomington-Normal and surrounding communities. Among other get-togethers, they have a Coffee Meet Up at 9AM on the first Saturday of each month at Lvl Up Coffee Bar in Normal. Come meet a great group of Catholic singles! 1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - JOIN A CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY GROUP
At 9AM, the "Carmelite Spirituality Group" will meet at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the parish hall, in Bloomington. Is God calling you to become a Third Order Lay Carmelite? Do you want to learn more about the Carmelite way? If you are 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing, you are invited to attend the meetings held every 1st Saturday of the month. ONGOING- FREE ON BIBLE STUDY ON REVELATION
The Institute of Catholic Culture will provide a 11-week study of the Book of Revelation in a free, comprehensive, online course that provides a biblical context and the historical context needed to understand Revelation's most mysterious symbols, including the 144,000, the 'mark' and 666, the great harlot, and the Heavenly Jerusalem. ONGOING – EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL VIRTUAL CATHOLIC CONFERENCE
Without having to go anywhere, you can have access to great free talks about Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist that you can play whenever you want. In addition, there are some live talks, too. Imagine for a moment what it could mean for our Church, our families, and the world if we realized that Jesus is present and more powerful than the storm around us. Among the long list of speakers, you may recognize some of them, such as Dr. Gregory Popcak who hosts More2Life on Catholic Spirit Radio.
