AUGUST 22 - UNCOUPLED CATHOLICS MASS & DINNER & CONCERT (BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL)
Attention single adults of any age. Uncoupled Catholics will meet for the 4PM Masson at Holy Trinity Church followed by dinner at a local restaurant (the restaurant will be posted on GroupMe for those who cannot attend that particular Mass. Then, we will go to Connie Link Theatre to listen to the "Biscuits & Gravy" band from 7:00PM to 8:30. Please bring a lawnchair for yourself to Connie Link outside Theatre in Normal.

AUGUST 29 - SIDEWALK ADVOCATES FOR LIFE APPROACH TRAINING (ROCKFORD)
The Rockford Diocesan LiFE Office will host a sidewalk advocacy training session based on the Sidewalk Advocates for Life approach on 8AM-3PM at the Diocesan Administration Center, 555 Colman Center Dr. Attendees will learn a peaceful, prayerful, and law-abiding sidewalk advocacy method. SEPTEMBER 24 - BEATIFICATION OF ARCHBISHOP FULTON SHEEN (ST. LOUIS)
Archbishop Fulton Sheen will receive the title Blessed Fulton Sheen at a Mass held at the dome at America's center in St. Louis, MO. American Archbishop Fulton Sheen who grew up as a youth in Central Illinois was famous for his program Life is Worth Living which airs in reruns on EWTN TV. He died in 1979. OCTOBER 2-4 - RACHEL'S VINEYARD: HEAL EMPTY FEELINGS AFTER ABORTION (JOLIET DIOCESE)
Married couples, mothers, fathers, grandparents and siblings of aborted children, as well as persons who have been involved in the abortion industry have come to Rachel's Vineyard to find peace and inner healing Friday October 2 thru Sunday, October 4. The retreat is an opportunity to examine your abortion experience, identify ways that loss has impacted you in the past and present, and helps to acknowledge any unresolved feelings that many individuals struggle with after abortion. 1st SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH - JOIN A CARMELITE SPIRITUALITY GROUP
At 9AM, the "Carmelite Spirituality Group" will meet at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the parish hall, in Bloomington. Is God calling you to become a Third Order Lay Carmelite? Do you want to learn more about the Carmelite way? If you are 18 years or older, and a Catholic in good standing, you are invited to attend the meetings held every 1st Saturday of the month. They are an Order of Franciscan Seculars who meet the fourth Sunday of each month in the St Mary's of Bloomington Parish Hall (lower level below church) from 2:00 to 4:00PM.
